My family went all out with my cousin’s wedding a few years ago. A bunch of people was invited to the party, and so, naturally, many showed up uninvited. At some point during the celebration, we were taking a family picture and the arroceros/colea'os (uninvited guests) insisted on being included. We cordially asked them to please step back, but they wouldn’t budge. Full cara e’ tablas! (the nerve! / shameless!). It almost escalated to a fistfight between a couple of my cousins and the arroceros, but we managed to diffuse the situation. That night, acabamos los trapos! (we partied hard).
Mis tíos tiraron la casa por la ventana en el matrimonio de mi prima. A la fiesta había un gentío invitado y no faltaba más para que llegaran un montón de arroceros. En algún momento de la rumba, nos estábamos tomando una foto familiar en la que los coleaos insistían en salir. Cordialmente, les explicamos que era una foto familiar y les pedimos que, por favor, se salieran de la foto. Pero, los jevos insistían en quedarse. Full cara e’ tablas. Mis primos estuvieron a punto de soltar unas manos, pero logramos bajar los humos. Esa noche acabamos los trapos.
