I followed my savings plan strictly. For months I avoided unnecessary expenses with one goal: buying a professional camera.
It was almost a habit to stop and look at it in the shop window. Maybe that's why I was distracted again by what was displayed the day I decided to buy it. In a matter of seconds, I bumped into someone who was coming out of the store and heard a thud as a camera hit the ground. It was enough to understand that I would have to get off the mule to repair the damage caused by my distraction.
Cumplí estrictamente mi plan de ahorro. Durante ocho meses evité cualquier gasto que no fuese necesario con un objetivo: comprarme una cámara profesional.
Ya era casi un hábito detenerme a verla en la vitrina de la tienda. Quizás por eso, el día que decidí entrar a comprarla, me distraje una vez más con lo que estaba expuesto. En cuestión de segundos sentí que tropezaba a alguien que salía de la tienda, escuché un golpe y vi una cámara hacerse prácticamente pedazos. Fue suficiente para entender que tendría que bajarme de la mula para reponer los daños causados por mi distracción.
